Top tips for staying on track with your fitness goals in the summer!

I often find in summer it’s harder to stay on track with fitness, especially when the sun makes an appearance, so here’s my top tips for staying on track with your fitness goals during the summer months. 

1) Get up early a few days in the week. Lighter mornings make it easier to wake up early and completing a workout before your day starts really makes you feel great.

2) Follow a training plan. I’m using Runna for my GNR training at the moment and it really helps to keep me accountable.

3) Plan your week. If you’re like me and travel a lot, planning when you’re going to do a work out keeps you from missing a workout out. 

4) Workout with your friends - go for a run together or outdoor yoga / pilates session - it means you can socialise and workout at the same time - win win!
